HRIA is pleased to share the following information(be sure to visit the HRIA table for a chance to win a $25 gift card):
It is with great pleasure to announce that Morgan State University Police Dept. has partnered again with MSU Office of Residence Life, Counselling Center, H.R., MCB Real Estate, BPD, to host another inaugural Morgan Public Safety Day!
We will have live music (DJ) on-site, carnival games to include inflatable basketball, football throw, giant jenga, giant connect four, corn-hole, soccer kick with food and entertainment located on the patio at the Northwood Commons Shopping Plaza, nestled in between the Public Safety Building and Barnes & Noble. We will have the 360 Degree Photobooth on-site, with a pledge wall signifying: "Student's Against Crime". Free T-Shirts for whom signs the pledge wall!
We have expanded the festivities to parking lot-Qn. which is located on the other side of the Public Safety Building across from the Earl Graves School of Business. On lot-Qn will be a stage area with a fitness dance party, MSU Jazz Band and Marching Band (schedule permitting).
BPD will be on-site with attractions such as Patrol Horses from their Mounted Unit, a tour of their Mobile Command Station, with a community outreach table present. Tables with trinkets will be set up showcasing MSU Office of Human Relations (H.R.), MSUPD Recruiting, MSU Counseling Center, Office of Residence Life, etc.
Sunny's Subs, Georgia Peach and other partners have partnered to help sponsor the event. Lookout for food vouchers and/or coupons from our generous neighbors of the Northwood Commons Shopping Plaza.
