We’re still out clearing the trash from our streets and alleys! 🧹🗑️ If you notice areas with trash issues, please report it to 311, and allow time for our hard working crews to respond. Special shout out to our solid waste workers! 👏

☝️ Friendly reminder: Street sweeping, and parking enforcement related to street sweeping, is canceled today due to the weather conditions.

💜 Good Morning & Happy GivingTuesday, Baltimore!

Today is the day — a global celebration of generosity, community, and coming together to build something bigger than ourselves.

For more than a decade, God’s Best Family has poured love, stability, and life-changing support into South Baltimore. From after-school programs and teen mentorship to our food pantry, holiday giveaways, recovery support, and daily community services — we show up because YOU make it possible.

✨ This GivingTuesday, we’re asking our community to unite around one big goal:
Help us secure a permanent community center for our youth and families.

Your generosity today directly supports our Building Campaign — helping us secure a permanent home where we can continue offering programs such as:
✨ Safe, welcoming spaces for youth & teens
✨ Parent + family support that strengthens households
✨ Mental health + recovery resources
✨ Access to food, clothing & essential supplies
✨ Job readiness & financial education
✨ Daily support for neighbors who rely on us

Every gift — big or small — moves us forward toward a space our community can finally call home.

Hate has no home in the Southern District. We stand with our young people and our neighbors in speaking out against the harmful messaging that has been recently distributed in Southern District communities.

"We ask that students, staff, and families to notify their school leaders if they come across these flyers. If you become aware of bullying or harassment, please report it directly to the school principal or submit a report through the City Schools Department of Fair Practices & Compliance Office webpage. You should also notify BPD (410-637-8875) or City Schools Police (410-396-8588) if you have any information about this matter."

City Schools is aware of hateful flyers found in the Federal Hill and Cherry Hill communities. Read our community letter here: https://www.baltimorecityschools.org/page/setting-the-record-straight
