Our president, Frank Kolarek, had the pleasure of meeting and working with Native Nations earlier in Arizona in July. The League of Dreams is so proud of them and all they are doing!

We’re blessed to have Mike on our team. For years, he has been someone who has thoroughly enjoyed sharing his passion, dedication, and love for not just baseball but for the Baltimore community. He has helped make an amazing experience possible for all of our athletes, students, and volunteers. Thank you for everything, Bordy, and here’s to more memories to come down the road!

Last week, League of Dreams traveled to the Maryland School for the Blind to help participate in Camp Abilities. Volunteers helped visually impaired athletes participate in a variety of baseball clinics which led to the ultimate game of “Beep Baseball.” Thanks to MSB for their continued support and partnership, and thanks to or volunteers who came out for an outstanding time!

Bordy’s had something brewing in the lab for you all for a long time, and now it’s finally time. League of Dreams’ very own podcast, “Rocks To Pearls,” has launched! Episode 1 is now available!

Mike will host alongside founder and president Frank Kolarek, and the show will be produced by Stevenson University alumnus Grant DeVivo.

The podcast will feature a variety of guests, from athletes to business people to even our own personnel within the League of Dreams. They’ll share stories of how challenges are turned into triumph and opportunity.

Today we’re celebrating Brooks Givens and an incredible milestone — graduation! 🎓

Brooks is the son of Stacey and Kevin Givens, founders of Make A Way Foundation and valued partners of the League of Dreams.

We want to give special recognition to Brooks, and congratulate him on this amazing accomplishment. Brooks participated in our adaptive sports clinic during our visit with Make A Way Foundation in Athens, Alabama and it was a joy to see him in action alongside so many incredible athletes.

We are excited to see what’s next for Brooks and the Givens family and know great things are ahead. Join us in congratulating, Brooks! 🎓💙
