Today we recognize World Tuberculosis Day — a day to raise awareness and stand together in the fight against TB.

Tuberculosis still affects millions worldwide, but with education, early detection, and proper treatment, it is preventable and curable. Let’s continue to spread awareness, support those affected, and work toward ending TB for good.

• Know the symptoms
• Support one another

Together, we can make a difference.

Day 2 Learning Highlights 👏

Before lunch, Dr. Farley presented a great overview of HIV drug resistance, highlighting how identifying resistance mutations is critical when choosing the right antiretroviral regimen. Clinical decision-making should always be individualized, with the shared goal of achieving and sustaining an undetectable viral load.

After lunch, Dr. Sara Hurtado Bares from the University of Nebraska addressed weight gain associated with INSTI-based regimens and shared strategies to help mitigate this issue—aiming to reduce the risk of comorbidities like type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and other metabolic concerns. So much valuable, practical information for real-world patient care.

🌈 Happy PRIDE! 🏳️‍🌈

This month (and always), we stand with the LGBTQ+ community — in love, in allyship, and in the ongoing fight for equality.

PRIDE is about being seen, being celebrated, and being unapologetically yourself. It’s also about coming together — friends, families, allies — to lift each other up and make space for everyone to belong.

Let’s continue to lead with kindness, speak up with courage, and love without limits. 💛💚💙💜❤️
