Really glad to have gone to the Health Equity Conference held by the Lutheran Clergy of Baltimore City at Epiphany Lutheran Church this morning. Had a chance to see my old friend Vinny DeMarco of Maryland Health Care for All! and presentations by state officials with important responsibilities relating to health disparities, health access, and health insurance. Thank you, Christine Myers Parker for extending the invitation!

Rain Barrel - Get one for your Garden

Baltimore County will host a compost bin and rain barrel truckload sale on Saturday, April 23, 2016, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The sale will take place at the Maryland State Fairgrounds, 2200 York Road (enter near the electronic sign).

Compost bins will sell for $35 each and rain barrels for $50 each. Both prices include tax. These are the lowest prices you will find in Maryland for these items this year. Cash, check and credit cards (Visa and MasterCard) will be accepted. The sale will occur rain or shine, and all items will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis, while supplies last. This sale is not limited to residents of Baltimore County and there are no limits on the amount of bins and barrels an individual may purchase.

Compost bins are shipped in two pieces and rain barrels are shipped in one piece.
