We had a wonderful evening Tuesday as we celebrated our Strawberry Social! This was our last meeting before our summer recess, and families joined us to enjoy fresh strawberries and ice cream.

We were also honored to welcome the Sojourners Baltimore Chapter, who shared their Flag Toast and Flag Folding Ceremony in commemoration of the 250th anniversary of American independence and in anticipation of Flag Day this Sunday.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for this special evening. Summer is officially here!

Tuesday was a great night as we initiated two new brothers into our honorable fraternity. Since September, we have welcomed four new members into Highland Lodge. A huge thanks to our officers who performed excellent degree work and proving an exceptional experience. We enjoyed our guests from other lodge including the Grand Lodge.

On this Memorial Day, we remember and honor the brave men and women who laid down their lives, to the horrors of war, while courageously fighting for justice and defending our freedom. They and their selfless sacrifices are never forgotten. Bless the families of our fallen troops, and fill them with strength and peace.

We’ll let you in on a little secret of the Freemasons. Turns out it’s not treasure maps or hidden handshakes (well… maybe a few of those). Mostly we strive to improve ourselves and enhance our mind so we can become better men for our family and community.
This evening we enjoyed a fantastic historical study of Freemasoney in Colonial Maryland by our good friend Brother Martinez from Annapolis Lodge.

Last night, we welcomed the family of Michael Elligson and Peter Orlaskey to our annual memorial service, remembering six of our fallen brothers from the past year. As we lit a candle for each departed brother, we remember that their light does not end. It continues on, illuminating our Lodge, our lives, and the world, just as they did in life

Wel also welcomed Past Master Mike Fuller, of King David #18, Prince Hall.
