Supper Club is a program under Baltimore City Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake's StepUp! Supper Club is seeding a city-wide movement to bridge successful and caring adults from diverse backgrounds to youth who are involved in the justice system. Volunteers and youth share in setting up, cleaning up, and conversing over a family-style meal, giving both the opportunity to have open and authentic conve
rsations about their lives, their interests, and their goals. Adults begin to understand the youth better, getting to know their personalities, challenges, and potential. Youth begin to trust the adults, offering a glimpse into their world. Both adults and youth are enriched by the experience. Most important, youth are connected to networks that they otherwise would not have access to and that increase their opportunities and broaden their horizons. Supper Club is always looking for great volunteers and food donations for our upcoming rounds, and would love to hear from you! Volunteers commit to once weekly dinners for three months or twice weekly dinners for one month
