Baltimore residents, this is a historic moment for our Muslim community!

Join us on Friday, October 2, 2026, at Baltimore City Hall for the "Historic Friday Prayer in Baltimore," where our community will come together in a powerful display of faith, service, and unity at the heart of our city.

Starting at 12:00 PM, the Muslim Community Resource Fair will offer valuable services and resources, including home repair and energy assistance, legal aid, medical and psychological support, job opportunities, after-school programs, food assistance, and college scholarships.

At 1:00 PM, we will gather for the Friday prayer and listen to the sermon delivered by our esteemed guest speaker, Sheikh Dr. Tahir White, followed by an on-site podcast with Imam Mustafa Brent.

This is more than just a prayer; it's an opportunity for Baltimore Muslims to come together, serve one another, strengthen our community, and build bridges of connection throughout our city.

All Baltimore residents are invited. Join us in making history!

Today, I am proud to welcome Yemeni-American leaders to the State Capitol.

The Yemeni community is an emerging force in Woodhaven, Ozone Park, and across South Queens. They are seizing every opportunity and truly exemplify the American Dream.

I am proud to open the doors of opportunity for this community as they help shape the future of New York.
