A few of our students had a great time hitting tee shots for the Ladies Member Guest this past Saturday. This group was also kind enough to invite Coach Mike to speak at their lunch afterwards and share some of the exciting work that our Chapter has been doing. Alumni Spotlight: Introducing Varada Maulkhan!

Varada joined First Tee-Greater Baltimore in 2010. To us, it feels like she grew up with our Chapter. Varada claims that some of her favorite days at class were the ones spent playing golf baseball.

While in high school, she spent many hours on the golf course caddying, and if you know her, you know she would be a delight to have as your caddy because she is extremely personable and has great stories.

In 2021, Varada graduated from Catonsville High School and became our first ever WGA Evans Scholar as part of University of Maryland’s Inaugural class. The Evans Scholarship is a prestigious, four-year, full tuition and housing college scholarship for high-achieving golf caddies. Since Varada was awarded this scholarship, she has been a great mentor and inspiration for a number of our caddies!

We are so proud of all of her success!🌟

We are filled with gratitude for the opportunities, special moments, and lifelong memories made at Seaview.

Our hearts are bursting with pride for two incredible students:

🎓 Sarah officially accepted her well-deserved Wakefern scholarship! Your hard work, dedication, and leadership continue to inspire us, and we can’t wait to see all that lies ahead.

💫 Evelyn received a magical wish grant from the , presented by LPGA Tour champion . Watching this beautiful moment unfold was truly unforgettable, and even more special as Celine went on to capture the tournament title! 🏆

Seeing the champion’s spirit Celine displayed both on the course and in her celebration of Evelyn is something we’ll always cherish.

Thank you to everyone who made this incredible weekend possible. Watching our girls shine on this stage is exactly why we do what we do. 💚🙌
