Join us Thursday, May 20th at 12:15pm EST for a discussion about a perspective article on the Flint, MI water crisis published in JAMA last week. Dr. Hanna-Attisha, the pediatrician who informed the world about the crisis, reflects on the situation in the article (found here: https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/fullarticle/2780028?resultClick=1) and a JAMA podcast on the subject can be found here: https://edhub.ama-assn.org/jn-learning/audio-player/18610291. This month's journal club focuses on a longitudinal study of child abuse and its outcomes, including education, economic stability, physical and mental health, substance use, and legal system interactions. We're looking forward to discussing the study design and what this paper's findings contribute to our understanding of this issue.
