The umpopularity of Operation Epic Fury
The overwhelming majority of the American people disapprove of Trump's handling of the unlawful war of choice in Iran for which most of the he American people and the rest of the world are paying exorbitant prices.

Around two-thirds (65%) now disapprove of the way President Donald Trump is handling the U.S. military action in Iran, while a third (33%) approve.

Great meeting with some esteemed colleagues today . Our meeting was a Forum on Cultural Diplomacy in the United Nations. This was our way of celebrating the United Nations 80th Anniversary. The event took place at the Permanent Mission of the Principality of Monaco to the United Nations. It was organized by the Berlin-based Institute for Cultural Diplomacy.

The Trump administration is trying to get rid of the first reparations program in the U.S. for Black Americans.

On Tuesday, the Department of Justice asked a judge to end the program in Evanston, Illinois, offering $25,000 to the descendants of the city’s Black residents who experienced housing discrimination between 1919 and 1969 due to city policies and ordinances. All residents who experienced housing discrimination in the city after 1969, regardless of race, also qualified for the program, which began in 2021.

The DOJ said in its court filing that the program was “racially discriminatory, calling it unconstitutional because it doles out different benefits based on race.

“There are sound ways for a city to remedy past discrimination or direct resources to its most vulnerable citizens and neighborhoods. Simply handing out money based on race, however, is not the answer,” said Harmeet Dhillon, assistant attorney general of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division, in a statement.

In total, Evanston has allotted $20 million to the program, raised from a tax on legal ma*****na, and $7 million has been distributed for use on down payments, home repairs, and paying interest or late penalties on property in the city.

Sen. Tim Scott is out of touch with economic issues in the USA. His statement about Pres. Trump inheriting a weak economy from Presient Biden is completely false. Accordiing to credible economists, thw World Bank,
and International Monetary Fund, the U.S. economy was outperforming all major world economies in 2024, that is, under President Biden.
Trumpublicans are so good at taking credit for Dems' economic achievements. They never assume responsibility for their corrupt and chaotic modus operandi for which most of us and the rest of the world are paying exorbitant prices.

Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) repeatedly tried to pass the buck off to former President Joe Biden, but Kristen Welker wasn’t having it.

“Hold on, senator. President Trump has been in office for two years,” Welker reiterated.

“Let me finish. President Trump has brought inflation from a sky high 21% of the Biden years down to under 5%, and right now hovering near 4%,” Scott continued.

Welker interjected again, “Wait. Inflation was at 3% when President Biden left office. It’s at 3.4% right now. The average household has paid $1,000 more in 2026 due to the tariffs, senator.”

Scott, who continued trying to over talk her, argued to Welker that Trump “inherited a weak economy and has built a resilient, strong economy with our wages going up and our costs flattening finally.”
