PAD'S OBJECTIVES
1. To serve as a forum for continuing world languages education.
2. To serve as a forum for effective exposure and immersion into world languages for prospective polyglots or multilinguals.
3. To promote interculturalism, international competency, and cosmocitizenship.
4. To educate local and/or international communities about numerous benefits of multilingualism in our global v
illage.
5. To contribute to, and participate in meaningful cultural exchange activities and people-to-people diplomacy.
6. To carry out and promote activities that are intended to bridge the global world language divide.
7. To carry out and promote activities that are intended to bridge the global digital divide.
8. To promote and carry out language- and culture-related international development programs.
9. To promote mental health through the study and practice of world languages.
10. To establish and maintain a North American Network for World Language Exchanges (NANWLE). PAD'S ACTIVITIES
PAD will accomplish its mission and achieve its objectives through diverse activities such as Publications, International Film Fora, Colloquia and Lectures Series, International Music and Dance, Translation and Tutoring Services, Homestay Exchange Program, North American Network for World Language Exchanges, and Global Partnerships.
