The next generation of entrepreneurs is already rising in West Baltimore.

The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Baltimore Metropolitan Chapter hosted the Dream to Dollars Youth Entrepreneurship Initiative at Harlem Park Elementary Middle School on Saturday, March 21, engaging over 60 youth, families, educators, and community leaders in a dynamic experience focused on financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment.

The program featured an inspiring keynote from Chrissy Thornton, President and CEO of Associated Black Charities, along with impactful partnerships with Fulton Bank and Visionary Venture Charities, providing youth and families with valuable insights on entrepreneurship, banking, investing, and pathways to generational wealth.

A highlight of the event was the Dream to Dollars Youth Business Pitch Challenge, where nine student teams confidently presented innovative business ideas while competing for the Future CEO Award, Innovator Award, and People’s Choice Award.

Through initiatives like Dream to Dollars, the National Coalition of 100 Black Women continues advancing economic empowerment, leadership development, and opportunity for the next generation of innovators and community leaders.

Last night, the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Baltimore Metropolitan Chapter proudly hosted Young Women on the Move: An Intergenerational Leadership Forum at Towson University.

The evening brought together dynamic collegiate women, community leaders, and professionals for powerful conversations centered on leadership, mentorship, and career navigation. Our students were incredibly engaged—asking thoughtful questions, sharing their aspirations, and embracing the opportunity to connect with accomplished women who are leading across industries.

Our panelists did an exceptional job sharing their personal journeys, lessons learned, and practical advice for the next generation of leaders. Their transparency and wisdom created an inspiring and empowering dialogue that truly embodied the spirit of intergenerational leadership.

The networking reception before and after the program created meaningful space for continued conversation, mentorship, and connection between students and members of the Coalition’s premier network of Black women leaders.

Thank you to our partners at Towson University, ( and ) our panelists, and the many students who joined us for an evening dedicated to uplifting, mentoring, and investing in the future of young women.
