The Baltimore Girls Softball League would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Ed Sands Foundation, Baltimore Community Improvement Corporation, and Baltimore VFW for their generous support in funding the Field 1 lighting project at Johnson Park.

This project was planned and executed under the direction of Mayor Rick Ellas, whose leadership and commitment to improving our community helped make this vision a reality.

The addition of field lighting is a tremendous investment in our youth, our families, and the future of softball and recreation in Baltimore. These improvements will allow for expanded programming, increased field availability, and a better experience for everyone who uses our facilities.

Projects like this are only possible when community organizations, local leadership, and dedicated supporters come together with a shared goal of making Baltimore a better place for our children.

Your support will benefit our community for many years to come.

🌟 Last night, BGSL hosted our very first night game under the lights! 🌟

BGSL 12U Naylor and BGSL 12U Cordray brought the energy, determination, and excitement to the field. These girls played their hearts out and had an absolute blast competing under the lights! 🥎💡

Moments like this remind us just how special our softball community is. We are beyond thankful for our parents, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters who helped make the lights possible this season.

BGSL continues to grow, and we couldn’t be more proud of everything we are building together for these girls and our community! ❤️
