A huge THANK YOU to the Buckeye Lake Eagles FOE 2801 for their incredibly generous $2,500 donation to the Baltimore Girls Softball League! 🥎❤️🖤

Their support will go directly toward improvements at our fields, helping fund our upcoming infield revamping and permanent fencing installation. These projects are a big investment in our facilities and, more importantly, in providing a better place for our girls to play, learn, and grow.

We are extremely fortunate to have organizations like the Buckeye Lake Eagles that believe in supporting local youth and investing back into our community.

Thank you, Buckeye Lake Eagles, for helping us continue to improve our fields and the experience we can provide for our players and families!

If you haven’t signed up this is your last chance. Age cutoffs are as follows:

If your child turns 13 after September 1, 2026 they are eligible to play 12U this fall and Spring 27’

If your child turns 11 after September 1, 2026 they are eligible to play 10U this fall and Spring 27’

If your child turns 9 after September 1, 2026 they are eligible to play 8U this fall and Spring 27’

If your child turns 7 after September 1, 2026 they are eligible to play 6U this fall and Spring 27’

🥎 BGSL Fall Ball Registration Update! 🥎

We're almost there! We just need a few more girls to round out our 6U, 10U, and 12U teams.

Good news! We've extended the registration deadline to Friday, August 7 to give a few more players the opportunity to join the fun!
Fall Ball is a great way for girls to continue developing their skills, build confidence, and have fun with teammates before the spring season.

If you've been thinking about signing up, now is the perfect time! Don't miss out on a great season.

Don't miss your chance to keep the season going! Fall Ball is the perfect opportunity for players to continue building their skills, gain confidence, learn new positions, and have fun with their teammates.

✨ New this fall: We're excited to add a 6U Fall Ball team! It's a great opportunity for our youngest players to learn the game and have a blast on the field. This is a great time to sign up your 4-6 year olds!

📅 Registration closes August 2. Once registration ends, we'll begin forming teams, so be sure to sign up before it's too late!

This weekend, BGSL hosted another softball tournament at Johnson Park, with games scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. At 7:15, we realized we were completely out of field chalk. After a few quick phone calls, Baltimore Youth Baseball Association stepped up and saved the day until our chalk vendor opened!

It truly takes a village, and we’re fortunate to have such a great one. Seeing two local youth organizations work together and support one another is what community is all about.

A huge thank-you to BYBA for always being willing to lend a hand. We’re incredibly grateful for the friendship and partnership we’ve built! 🥎⚾️❤️🖤

🚨 OOPS! We Missed One… 🚨

Some of you may have noticed that 6U Fall Ball wasn’t included in our registration announcement. That one is on us! 🤦‍♂️

The good news is 6U registration is OPEN! 🥎🦁

If you have a daughter ages 4–6 who’s interested in learning the game in a fun, encouraging environment, we’d love to have her join us this fall. It’s the perfect introduction to softball and a great way to build confidence, make friends, and have fun!

📣 Help us spread the word! Please like, share, and tag anyone with a future Lion who might have missed it because of our oversight.
