Introducing Ms. SharRon Tyrell! 🎭

We’re thrilled to welcome Ms. SharRon as the leader of our in-house After-School Theatre Club at Bon Secours CRC.

Her philosophy?
“The love of theatre is a gift — a passion that I will never take for granted.”
She believes every kid deserves a standing ovation.
She believes kindness is an essential part of the rehearsal process.
And she believes the stage should be a place where confidence is built, voices are strengthened, and creativity is celebrated.

Starting today, Theatre Club is fully facilitated by The Arts Project — and we are proud to have Ms. SharRon guiding our young performers with intention, excellence, and heart. She will also be joining us for Create 4 Spring Break as the Theater teacher!

If your child loves to perform, needs a confidence boost, or simply needs a safe space to explore their creativity, this is where they belong.

🎭 Wednesdays | 4:00–5:30 PM
📍 Bon Secours Community Resource Center
👧🏾 Ages 8–13
✨ No auditions necessary

HEY CREATIVES & HAPPY NEW YEAR‼️

We have some very exciting news to share with the fam! After years of sowing into the futures of young creatives in the city, our Executive Director, Ms. Andi, and her husband has welcomed their very own future artist into the world.

Meet Maddox Avery Kennedy💛🎨

This little one arrives wrapped in love, legacy, and purpose—already reminding us why the work matters.

Special shoutout to one of our greatest supporters, , and to Art with a Heart—an organization doing beautifully aligned work for youth in this amazing city—for this perfect “Little Artist” onesie. We’re grateful to exist alongside creatives and organizations who believe, like we do, in showing up for Baltimore’s young people in meaningful, art-filled ways.

The work continues. The legacy grows. Welcome to the village, little creative. We are so proud of you, Ms. Andi🥹🌈🖍️

As we close out the year, we’re reflecting on what makes The Arts Project more than a program — it’s a place for growth, expression, and connection ✨

Through art, mentorship, and community support, we continue creating spaces where youth can explore their voices and build confidence year-round 🎨

Before we turn the page, let’s rewind 🎬✨

A year shaped by creativity, community, and growth.

As the year comes to a close, we’re celebrating the creative spaces that feel like home. 🏡✨
This year, we’ve done so much together — from hosting community events and Creative 4 Spring Break Camp, to Chalk Fest and so many moments in between.

At The Arts Project Inc., we’re proud to be a place where young creatives feel supported, inspired, and seen. And this is just the beginning.

More to come. 💛

As Native American Heritage Month comes to a close, we honor Joy Harjo — poet, musician, author, and member of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.

Her words remind us that creativity takes courage — every time we step into something new, we grow. ✨

Thank you to the Native creatives, culture-keepers, and storytellers whose voices continue to shape our world. Your art, history, and resilience inspire generations. 🌾💛

11/18/2025

Creative inspiration starts with culture — and Native American art is full of it.
Think bold patterns, vibrant colors, and powerful storytelling… all fueling the imagination of today’s young creatives. 🎨💛
