LeadingAge Maryland was glad to serve on the Planning Committee, contribute as a speaker, and attend the first Maryland Supportive Housing Forum, hosted by the CSH Housing Solutions in Baltimore on October 12–13.

The two-day event brought together stakeholders from across Maryland to discuss ways to expand access to affordable, accessible, and safe housing. We also appreciated the opportunity to highlight the work of our member organization, The Community Builders, and the impact of cross-sector collaboration in advancing supportive housing.

We look forward to continuing these important conversations and supporting efforts to expand housing opportunities across Maryland.

Last week, the Mid-Atlantic Leadership Academy recently gathered for an inspiring session focused on the theme of "Navigating Change and Innovation." We extend our thanks to the Broadmead, for graciously hosting this event and creating a welcoming space for collaboration and learning.

We are also incredibly grateful to our exceptional guest speakers— Mark Beggs, CEO at Edenwald Senior Living, Julianne Devaney, Executive Director at Glen Meadows, and Bettina Straight, Director of Culture and Belonging at Broadmead, —who shared their expertise, sparked dynamic conversations, and challenged us to look at innovation through a fresh lens. We love watching this cohort grow together as leaders!
