Yesterday, NHS Baltimore staff were out and about in the Walbrook/Panway Neighborhood, connecting directly with residents and canvassing over 100 homes! We shared information about our Reinvest Baltimore Down Payment Assistance Program, NHS's upcoming homebuyer workshops, and our Halloween Sneak Peek on Saturday, October 31st, from 11 AM–3 PM at 2302 North Rosedale St.

🌍 Connecting Communities Across Borders!

On Monday, October 5, NHS Baltimore had the pleasure of welcoming the American Council on Germany’s Study Tour on Social Cohesion to Baltimore!

This group of American and German community leaders is exploring important topics such as housing, immigration, environmental justice, and education.

During their visit, we shared Baltimore’s rich history, ongoing revitalization efforts, and how NHS programs and services are helping strengthen neighborhoods and support community stability. The group also had the opportunity to tour a recently renovated NHS home in the Panway/Walbrook neighborhood. 🏡

We're grateful for the opportunity to share Baltimore's story, highlight the impact of our work, and connect with leaders committed to building stronger communities!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported our recent neighborhood clean-up in partnership with Greater Mondawmin Coordinating Council (GMCC) and Rosemont Walbrook Community Coalition (RWCCO)!⁠

Together, we rolled up our sleeves at The Quiet Place to pick up litter, remove weeds, repaint the community sign, and refresh the picnic tables and benches - creating a cleaner, more welcoming space for neighbors to enjoy.⁠

Connecting with the community, one conversation at a time. 💙

NHS Baltimore was proud to participate in the Maryland Physicians Care (MPC) Community Resource Fair at The Wash Zone Laundromat, where we had the opportunity to connect with residents and share information about our homeownership, financial coaching, and housing counseling programs.

Events like these help bring valuable resources directly into the community, making it easier for families to access the support they need.
