We are stewards of & stewards in our neighborhood! Every week, we dedicate roughly 1 hr to clearing litter from our grounds & street. With concentrated effort, we were able to collect more than 1440 lbs of litter in 2024, an 31% increase over the year before!

We are proud to partner with Baltimore City Department of Public Works for their GROW Center series. Late in 2024, we hosted multiple rain barrel workshops. helped retrofit barrels for home use and we showcased our onsite stormwater management features! These built systems help us repurpose more than 1 million gallons of runoff that would otherwise contribute to pollution in our watershed.

In this season of giving, we're grateful to receive volunteers from a number of our business partners! In November, the Nielson Group sent a team to help us organize tarps & pair gloves. Then in December, we were joined by friends from T. Rowe Price to sharpen tools, tighten wheelbarrows, & (again) pair gloves. Then MyBGE came through to help us keep our streets clean, removing more than 250 pounds of litter from our neighborhood's walkways!

As ever, our efforts are best when joined by volunteers. These three groups helped us round out the year with more than 1,000 total volunteers!

Thanks to friends from T. Rowe Price for joining us in a *chilly* warehouse last week to pair gloves, sharpen loppers, tighten wheelbarrows and assess chargers! 28 volunteers joined for one afternoon to log 70 hours of service to benefit our staff and partners!
