Join the Friends at SOS Games and Events TONIGHT (Thursday 8.27)!

You're invited to hang out with other park lovers, learn some pickleball skills from a coach, and play other games like table tennis and billiards in the newly renovated warehouse. Make some new friends, JOIN/RENEW your Friends membership, and get the scoop on all things Patterson Park. Friends' staff and members of the board will be on-site to play too - come out and say hello!

ALL new/renewing and current members attending will be entered to win a raffle for 2 BrewFest tickets and some FPP swag, and the SOS bar will be open with discount beverages (alcoholic & non) and lite fare for you and the family.

Thank you for another WONDERFUL Friends of Patterson Park Summer Concert Series presented by PNC w/media partners WYPR & WTMD!

We want to thank everyone who came out throughout the summer to enjoy listening to Togolese Afropop, jamming to banjo picking, swaying with American brass, singing along with a Baltimore chorus, learning to dance the cha-cha, and dancing Konpa at the Haitian Caribbean Festival concert with Komite Ayiti!

A big thanks to the bands that came out and gave us all such a great time - Elikeh, the The Dirty Grass Players, Downtown Tumbao , U.S. Army Band Downrange, Charm City Sings, and the Eclipse International Band!

Join The Butchers Hill Association for the Fall Butchers Hill Flea Market & Craft Fair on September 19th!

150+ vendors selling clothing, toys, sporting equipment, furniture, pottery, antiques, art, and unexpected treasures! ATM on site, live music, food, and fun! All are welcome!

MoveMeant invites you to engage with body, breath, and voice—creating a deeper, more integrated encounter with meaning, resonance, and presence.

Come move, listen, create, and connect in a welcoming space where all abilities are honored. No prior dance, meditation, or somatic experience is necessary. Everyone is welcome! Hosted by local hobby-baker and cook () Courtney Lennon, in partnership with Friends of Patterson Park, this FREE cookbook club will meet in the Cedar House.

Instead of reading a novel, all members will cook from the same cookbook. Before each meeting, you'll choose a recipe from the featured cookbook, prepare it at home, and bring it to share with the group. During the gathering, we'll enjoy a potluck-style meal, get to know one another, and discuss our favorite recipes, cooking techniques, and the cookbook itself.

Whether you're an experienced home cook or simply enjoy trying new recipes, everyone is welcome. The goal is to build community through a shared love of food!

Have you stopped by the Patterson Park Farmers Market on Tuesdays? Maybe you've seen and/or spoken to someone at the Friends tent there or at any one of our other events selling merch and sharing info about the park? If so, you've likely met a Park Ambassador!

Park Ambassadors are our amazing volunteers who advocate for and represent the Friends of Patterson Park at our events. They are park lovers and supporters who understand the importance of our public green space as a vital asset to our community. Being a Park Ambassador is a great way to volunteer while learning more about Patterson Park and meeting your neighbors who love the Park just as much as you do!

With the amazing addition of our Tuesday Farmers Market, we have even more opportunities for you to hop in and share with your neighbors, visitors, and park regulars what's going on in the park and how to get involved!

Interested in joining the Friends of Patterson Park's coaching team? Our (early) fall tennis programs start up this weekend and we are looking for volunteers to help support the program!!
🎾🎾🎾
Volunteer coaches work with our head coaches to welcome players, do a quick warm-up, and then work on basic drills, skills, and games based on our players' skill level.

No tennis experience is required to volunteer, but we require a background check! If you aren't comfortable directly teaching players, we always need help with maintaining lines, picking up tennis balls, and signing players in 👍

Saturdays | August 15th - September 19th
8:30am - 9:30am for beginner, 9:30am - 10:30am for intermediate
