OGEDENGBE FIESTA 2026 HOLDS JULY 29–31, CELEBRATING HERITAGE, LEGACY AND PEACE

The organisers of Ogedengbe Fiesta 2026 have announced the commencement of a three-day heritage and cultural celebration in honour of the legendary Yoruba war hero, statesman and nationalist, Ogedengbe Agbogungboro of Ijesaland.

The festival, themed “A Celebration of Heritage and Legacy,” is scheduled to hold from Wednesday, July 29 to Friday, July 31, 2026, across selected locations in Osun and Ekiti States.

The event also commemorates the 116th Ogedengbe Memorial Peace Festival, aimed at preserving Yoruba history, promoting cultural tourism and strengthening conversations around leadership, peacebuilding and governance.
