TACEA 台美慈善教育協會 2011 年度音樂會於美國甘迺迪中心(Kennedy Center) 演出， 安可曲時演出了蕭泰然大師的著名曲目- 出外人，由鋼琴/胡志龍老師演出鋼琴版之後再由李文智老師演出聲樂版。 希望讓更多美國人得以認識更多台灣優秀的音樂家，也借此懷念剛逝世於2/24, 2015 的蕭泰然大師。

We are delighted to announce that four students were selected as the recipients of the 2014 Taiwanese American Charity and Education Association Scholarship program. Each student is to be awarded US$ 1,000.

The names of the students are:
Wan-Ching Liu / piano
Yun-An Chen / piano
Yu-Han Yeh / piano
Ching Lin / oboe

There will be a ceremony officially awarding the scholarships at 2 PM on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the Taiwanese Presbyterian Church of Washington, 7410 Needwood Road, Derwood, MD 20855. We remind you that as noted in the application for the scholarship, a condition of the scholarship is your performance of a fifteen piece at this ceremony. All four scholarship recipients shall perform at the ceremony.

2014 Scholarships~
Deadline: January 31, 2014

The Taiwanese American Charity and Education Association (“TACEA”) is a nonprofit organization that was established in 2007 to promote charitable giving and provide educational opportunities. As part of this mission, TACEA annually is offering five to ten scholarships of $1,000 USD each to deserving students of Taiwanese descent who are studying classical music (undergraduate students or higher) .

There is the scholarship application form, please feel free to downlaod it.

2012-2013 年度關懷音樂會系列報告~

由TACEA 贊助, Phoenix Arts Management 執行製作之2012-2013 TACEA 年度關懷音樂會系列,已於2013 年10月8日圓滿完成。總計12 個演出場次的音樂會帶給了Baltimore/Washington DC 大眾豐富的音樂饗宴。

在曾耿元教授帶領下, 共計11 位音樂家參與了深負慈善與教育宗旨的演出活動。透過音樂的交流, 部份演出場所與社區在音樂會後積極響應捐款, 達成我們”以樂傳愛”之目標。(演出名單如下)

此音樂會系列結合了TACEA 慈善與教育之宗旨，提供旅美台灣年輕音樂學子演出之機會，引導年輕後進關懷弱勢與付出之精神，進而透過音樂演出促進台美文化交流，鼓勵聽眾響應慈善教育捐款，為台美社會大眾盡一份心力。

演出活動範圍遍及Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Ann Arundel County,
Montgomery County 等地之 9 所 Senior Centers, 1 所Retirement Community, 1 所 Adult Day Service Center, 以及 1 所 Special Education School, 總計12 個場次, 792 位聽眾參與(詳細場次如下)。

上周六晚的甘迺迪表演藝術中心，非常台灣！一樓有千禧樂團的聲動樂團展現台灣原創而多元的音樂能量；頂樓泰瑞斯劇院則有台美音樂家傾力演出的傳愛慈善音樂會，不少台僑連捧兩場，為新生代音樂人喝采，也飽享一晚不同配器、時代跨度超過500年的室內樂饗宴。 傳愛慈善音樂會是華府台美慈善教育協會策辦的一場演出，協會會長陳吉祥醫師與一群同樣心繫故鄉台灣的僑胞出錢出力，讓留美台籍音樂家站上頂級表演舞台，並將募款所得回饋故鄉教育，除了這場音樂會，另外也成立獎學金計畫，獎勵台灣留美音樂學生。 28日晚的音樂會，參與演出者都與巴爾的摩的琵琶第音樂院有交集，包括老師、在學學生，也有校友，第一次加盟音樂會的琵琶第古樂團 （P...
