This week, the Baltimore Ravens, United Way of Central Maryland and Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Baltimore came together for Caw to Action, a day dedicated to service, community, and making a lasting impact! 🐦‍⬛

From building and revitalizing garden beds to creating collaborative artwork and assembling appreciation gifts for local educators, volunteers rolled up their sleeves to make a difference at the Baltimore Ravens Boys & Girls Club.

A huge THANK YOU to the Baltimore Ravens, United Way, and all of our incredible volunteers for showing up, giving back, and helping us continue to build great futures for Baltimore's youth.

Stronger together. Greater impact. Go Ravens! 💜🏈

Big things happen when communities invest in young people. 💙🌮

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore is proud to receive an incredible Community Grant from the Taco Bell Foundation to help us continue creating opportunities for Baltimore-area youth to learn, grow, explore their futures, and build the skills they need to succeed.

We’re grateful to the Taco Bell Foundation and everyone who chooses to Round Up at their local Taco Bell restaurant. Those small contributions add up to meaningful investments in the next generation — including young people right here in our community.

Together, we’re helping young people chase their dreams and build great futures. 🚀

Some of the most important work looks a lot like this.

It’s joy, connection, play and being fully present with a child. This Labor Day, we’re celebrating the incredible people who show up every day and make moments like these possible. We’re so grateful for our BGCMB team. 💙

The stories we carry remind us why this work matters. 💙

They are stories of children finding their confidence. Young people discovering a place where they feel understood. Staff members recognizing that difficult behavior may really be a child asking to be seen.

Our team members do more than deliver programs. They notice. They remember. They encourage. They keep showing up—even when trust takes time.

Because one good day can become one good week.
One good week can become one good summer.
And one unforgettable summer can change what a young person believes is possible.

That is the heart of our staff. And that is how great futures begin. 💙

A mosaic of possibility, created piece by piece. 🎨

Our Leonard’s Lane Club members recently joined Art with a Heart for a special hands-on experience, helping create murals that will become part of our new Club at Mace’s Lane Community Center.

More than an art project, this experience gave our members an opportunity to leave their mark on a space that will serve young people for generations to come, while honoring the legacy of the Mace’s Lane High School alumni who helped shape this community.

The past is inspiring the future, and our young people are helping carry that legacy forward. We can’t wait to see these pieces come to life in their new home at Mace’s Lane!

Last month, volunteers from Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Baltimore team spent the day engaging with members at our Brooklyn O’Malley and Webster Kendrick Clubs through a hands-on STEM experience.

Club members explored the science behind genetics and DNA and even got the chance to extract DNA from strawberries! 🧬🍓 Experiences like these make learning fun, spark curiosity, and introduce our young people to the possibilities of STEM.

A huge THANK YOU to Thermo Fisher Scientific for volunteering your time, sharing your knowledge, and creating a memorable learning experience for our Club kids! 💙

🎒 Backpacks packed. Confidence high. Futures in motion. 🩵

For our Boys & Girls Clubs Back-to-School Rally Day, we're coming together to celebrate a new school year—and everything they’re ready to make possible.

Our kids are tomorrow’s innovators, leaders and changemakers. But they aren’t waiting for the future to make their mark. They’re learning, leading and strengthening their communities right now.

At Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Baltimore, we’re proud to stand behind them with the encouragement, opportunities and support they need to succeed in school and wherever their dreams take them next.

Because the future of Baltimore and Maryland will be shaped by how we invest in young people today.

That’s why hashtag . Make your gift today and help open the door to a great school year and a great future: https://lnkd.in/eaKP-qCT 💙

What happens when an incredible group of 100 volunteers shows up ready to bring the energy for hundreds of Club kids? Summer Fest magic. 💙

From the moment our youth arrived, our volunteers made them feel like the stars of the day. The Hero’s Welcome was unforgettable—the cheers, high-fives and excitement on our Club kids’ faces said it all!

And the energy didn’t stop there. Our volunteers cheered kids on the field during dodgeball and flag football, embraced the Splash Zone fun, led yoga and dance parties, encouraged their creativity, served up snow cones and kept the joy going through every rotation. When the rain changed our plans, they jumped right in, stayed flexible and helped make sure our kids continued having an amazing time.

That is what community looks like: showing up, bringing your whole heart and making sure every young person knows they are celebrated, supported and surrounded by people who believe in them.

To every volunteer who helped make Summer Fest a day our Club kids will remember: thank you. The moments of joy and belonging will last far beyond one summer day. 💙
