A huge thank you to Turner Construction - Mid-Atlantic for the day with us at our Brooklyn O’Malley Club!

Their team helped refresh and beautify our outdoor space through landscaping and painting projects, creating an even better environment for our youth to learn, play, and grow! They also hosted an engaging workshop with our members, leading a hands-on STEM challenge where youth used spaghetti and gumdrops to design and build towers. 💙

Summer is almost here! 🫧☀️

Our members had a blast chasing bubbles and enjoying the sunshine at our Club at Leonard’s Lane in Cambridge yesterday. The last day of programming is this Friday, and 6 weeks of summer camp for over 600 youth begins in just 3 weeks! We can't wait for all the fun, friendships, and adventures ahead! 💙

Happy Pride Month from Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore! 🌈

At Boys & Girls Clubs, every young person deserves a place where they feel safe, valued, respected, and empowered to be themselves.

This Pride Month, we celebrate the importance of belonging and the power of creating environments where all youth can thrive. Behind our blue doors, we strive to ensure every young person knows they are seen, supported, and welcomed as part of our Club community.

Together, we're building Great Futures by creating spaces where every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Mental wellness can look like movement, mentorship, mindfulness, confidence, laughter, self-expression — and simply knowing you are cared for. 💙

Our Mental Health Awareness event at the Club at O'Donnell Heights brought young people together for a day focused on wellness, positivity, and community connection. From yoga and basketball to fresh cuts, spa experiences, and powerful conversations around growth and mental health, every moment reminded our youth that they matter.

Thank you to our community partners, supporters, officers, volunteers, and special guests who helped make this day meaningful for our Club kids.

Behind these blue doors, we are committed to creating spaces where young people feel safe, supported, and empowered to thrive. 🩵

What happens when young people know they belong?

They breathe easier.
They speak louder.
They try new things.
They believe in their future. 🩵

At Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Baltimore, belonging isn’t just a feeling — it’s the foundation for confidence, connection, and growth behind these blue doors.

As we close out this Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re reflecting on the power of safe spaces, trusted mentors, and communities where young people are seen, heard, and valued exactly as they are.

Today, on Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage and commitment to protecting our freedoms will never be forgotten.

At Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Baltimore, we reflect on the values these heroes exemplified—service, leadership, and unity. As we honor their legacy, we recommit to fostering these same values in the next generation of leaders—our Club members.
To all who have served and sacrificed: We thank you. We honor you. 💙❤️

Family. Friendship. Happiness. Kindness. Opportunity.

These are the words our kids used to describe what Boys & Girls Club means to them.

This is what it’s all about.💙

The Club at Truitt Community Center in Salisbury celebrated Haitian Flag Day by learning about Haiti’s history, enjoying traditional Haitian food, and creating art projects centered around unity and peace ❤️💙🇭🇹

With about 75% of our members being Haitian, we were proud to celebrate the culture and community that make our Club so special!
