St. Francis Neighborhood Center St. Francis Neighborhood Center dismantles inequity by cultivating community connections through tailored education and social interventions for West Baltimore.

Francis Neighborhood Center is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3), community based organization in the Reservoir Hill area of Baltimore. Founded in 1963 as an outreach center for two local churches, the Center was incorporated in 1972 as a neighborhood nonprofit corporation, independent of any church affiliation. Since its inception, the Center has served as a a resource and catalyst for improving the lives o

f those in Reservoir Hill, and making Baltimore a better place. Our programs create an approach that builds self-esteem, personal strength, academic, emotional, interpersonal, social, and community development that work to address complex challenges in an effort to break through the cycles of urban poverty. In an average month, we serve over 300 adults, youth, and families. Francis Neighborhood Center has been the only enduring institution to serve this large and diverse community since the riots of 1968. Due to its unwavering dedication, the Center has become an iconic presence within the Reservoir Hill community.

🦀 Time is about to run out to get your tickets to this year's Crab Feastival! Join us for a laid-back community kickback at SFNC with all-you-can-eat crabs, cold beer from Guilford Hall Brewery, and great vibes. School may be back in session but there's still more summer fun to be had!

Every ticket supports free programs at SFNC like the Power Project, our highly-demanded free afterschool program for K-8th grade youth in West Baltimore - which will be back in full swing in just a few short weeks!

Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday for the 21st Annual ResFest! 🎉 It was truly a beautiful day to step out and connect with community!

It’s our pleasure keeping this tradition alive, but it wouldn’t be possible without the support of our neighbors, partners, volunteers, vendors, performers, staff, and everyone lending a hand in between. 💛

We hope everyone has had a great first day of school and we’ll see you next August for the 22nd annual! Stay tuned for more photos to come! 📸

Wondering how our backpack giveaway works at ResFest? 🎒 It's easy and completely free to participate!

1️⃣ Stop by the SFNC Info Table at the Whitelock St entrance to German Park and pick up your "Festival Passport" wristband
2️⃣ Visit at least 10 resource vendor tables and receive a sticker from each
3️⃣ Head over to the SFNC Courtyard to pick up your free meal ticket, backpack, and school supplies!

Please note, meal tickets and backpacks are only available while supplies last! The festival kicks off at 11 AM this Sunday, August 23!
