Greater Remington Improvement Association - GRIA The Greater Re*****on Improvement Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to making Baltimore's Re*****on neighborhood even greater. All are welcome!

The Greater Re*****on Improvement Association (GRIA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to making Baltimore's Re*****on neighborhood even greater. Through collaboration with intergenerational residents, local business, and the Baltimore government we work throughout the year to make Re*****on safer, greener, more vibrant, and socially connected. We meet every 3rd Wednesday of the month, 7:00, at 335 W. 27th Street.

Opposing BGE’s High Voltage Towers in South Re*****on: Overview of Community Position

and adopted as the official position of the
Greater Re*****on Improvement Association

BGE, in coordination with Amtrak’s Frederick Douglass Tunnel Initiative, proposes relocating existing underground 115kV transmission lines from Amtrak’s Center Tunnel to a new overhead transmission route through portions of South Re*****on and adjacent Baltimore City corridors.

Residents were not meaningfully engaged
before the overhead route was selected.
Many residents report never receiving project notification, and the mailed notice did not mention overhead lines.
