Art with a Heart is proud to unveil a new mixed-media mosaic mural at the Mary E. Rodman Recreation Center, created in partnership with AARP through the AARP Community Challenge.

Led by our Special Projects Coordinator, Jamie Freed, this community-driven artwork was designed and created with the Rodman Royals senior bingo group and students from Edmondson High School. Together, they captured memories of the neighborhood, celebrated local landmarks, and transformed community stories into a vibrant public artwork that will welcome and inspire visitors for years to come.

Our team was honored to install this multi-media project at Arundel House of Hope alongside community members and clients whose creativity and voices shaped every piece. As one client shared after seeing the completed work, “there’s a lot of love out here now.”

Did someone say… CFA’S PARTNER OF THE YEAR?! 🏆💛

Huge shoutout to our Programming Branch for making the Show What You Know Showcase at Morgan State University such a success! Our students brought Dr. King’s “I Have a Dream” to life through clouds of quotes, recycled rainbows, and sunflowers filled with hope, unity, and imagination.

We’re incredibly honored to receive this recognition from Child First Authority and grateful for this meaningful partnership supporting Baltimore’s children and families!

Still feeling the love from yesterday’s Art Show 🎨🖌️

Thank you to everyone who came out, supported our artists, purchased artwork, and filled the space with such amazing energy.

The turnout was incredible, and seeing so many pieces find new homes was truly special.
