We are excited to announce that we teamed up with Fazzini's Taverna in Cockeysville to raise funds for our cause. (Bring on the carboload!🍝)

On Thursday October 19, 10% of the entire day’s proceeds will be donated to LNBAF. It doesn’t matter if you dine in, carry out, stop for lunch or dinner, or even just enjoy a drink at happy hour.

Dear Friends,

What a busy year it has been! Today we are excited to give you an update on the mission that Logan’s Never Be Alone Foundation has been able to fulfill over the last several months, all thanks to our dedicated team and incredibly generous donors.

LNBAF has been working closely with John’s Hopkins Children’s Center to identify families with critically ill children experiencing extended hospital stays, in need of financial assistance. With your help, we are happy to report Logan’s Foundation has made a true impact, helping numerous families stay afloat so that they can dedicate their energy and presence to the health of their child. We’ve been humbled to learn that support from Logan’s Foundation has covered months of utility bills, car payments, and even mortgages, allowing families to return to their homes upon hospital discharge.

Through Logan’s mission, we have been able to provide not only a sense of financial relief to families, but also comfort knowing that during such an uncertain and desperate time, they are not alone, their child is not alone, and that good still exists in this world.

We are pleased to announce this year Logan’s Foundation was also able to contribute a grant to the John’s Hopkins Children’s Center PICU Family Fund. This fund is used for food, parking, and other essential needs of families, who are living day to day in the intensive care unit during their child’s extended hospital stay.

With your help, in Logan’s memory, a substantial difference is being made in the lives of critically ill children and the families who love them. We have had the honor to deliver many of the gifted amounts in person and have been awed by our recipients’ sincere gratitude and their overwhelming need for assistance.

We’re looking forward to upcoming fall fundraising events including The 2017 Baltimore Running Festival and a dedicated dinner at a local Baltimore restaurant. If you’re interested in joining our running team, please contact [email protected]

Capital Cities- Safe and Sound

This Saturday, members of Team LNBAF will wear one of Logan’s famous lines: “Follow Me” as we run and support one another at the Baltimore Running Festival. Typically, these words paired with Logan’s confident march, led to us chase butterflies around the yard, explore a garage full of lawn equipment, or watch the wonder of a dryer’s spin cycle. Now, these words are a daily reminder for us to follow Logan’s example of bravery, kindness, and joy.

"Follow Me", you would exclaim,
Toddling hurriedly
We'd gladly keep the pace you set,
You'd show us what to see.

You've taught us how to wisely bide
The time we have today,
Infused with love, engaged us all--
to cuddle, laugh, and play.

You showed us all perfection,
Your presence mild and pure.
We so enjoyed time shared with you.
These memories will endure

Happy October! We're 2 weeks away from the Baltimore Running Festival and have reached our HALFWAY point toward our $10,000 goal! We are so thankful to our generous donors and we're excited to keep raising funds over the coming weeks!

Did you know?

1. According the Family Medical Leave Act 1993 (FMLA), if you are a working parent and your child suddenly becomes ill and requires long term treatment you may take 12 weeks protected unpaid leave to care for your child. That is, only if you qualify for FMLA. More than 40% of U.S. workers don't meet all of FMLA's requirements, and even if they do, many cannot afford to take unpaid leave.

Help Logan's Never Be Alone Foundation's running team reach our goal. Your donation will go toward alleviating the financial burdens that families face during their child's long term hospitalization, so that parents can stay with their child during treatment.

We're so excited to announce that family and friends of Logan's Never Be Alone Foundation have teamed up to form a running team in this year's Baltimore Running Festival!

Our team is comprised of over 35 members who have been training to run the 5k, relay, half marathon, and marathon on October 15, 2016.

We appreciate your support as we aim to raise $10,000 for Logan's Never Be Alone Foundation, so that we can continue to give financial assistance to families with critically ill children during their extended hospital stays.

Hi Everyone! It's been 5 months since Logan's Never Be Alone Foundation was established. In that short period of time, we have seen an incredible outpouring of generosity from our friends and family in the Baltimore community and beyond. Fundraising efforts have paid off! Last week, we were extremely excited to be able to help our first family. They have a beautiful child who is critically ill and all they want is to bring their little one home in good health. They have been in the hospital for a LONG time. Months and months and months. With the help of LNBAF they will now have less financial worries and more time and energy to focus on their child. In a time when life is dealing them a cruel and unfair hand, we hope they have been reminded of the good that exists in this world and that they are not alone in this fight. THANK YOU ALL for contributing to this amazing mission. I know Logan is smiling up in heaven. More fundraising events to come!
