Reminder: The Community Engagement Center (CEC) is an official Early Voting Site for Baltimore City residents now through Thursday, June 18!

Voting close to home matters. Having an early voting location right here in West Baltimore helps make civic participation more accessible, convenient, and community-centered. Polls are open daily from 7 a.m.–8 p.m. and anyone in line by 8 p.m. can still vote.

In a recent Elm story, our team member Ebony Nicholson reflects on her experience training to become an election judge and why supporting fair, welcoming, and accessible elections matters. From helping voters navigate the process to ensuring everyone feels welcome, her story is a reminder that civic engagement starts in our neighborhoods.

There’s something special about seeing young artists bring their ideas to life.

We love Wednesdays because it means RISE Arts Center of Baltimore Inc. is here! Young artists in the Legacy Arts program are learning to sew, build new skills, and express their creativity one stitch at a time. From threading needles to creating something entirely their own, it's inspiring to watch their confidence and creativity grow with every session.

This summer, we're excited to welcome even more young creatives into the space as we host TWO YouthWorks creative arts programs here at the CEC!

We can't wait to spend the summer creating learning, and growing together. More to come!

Meet doctors and nurses available to answer your health questions and get connected to resources in your community.

Youth must be accompanied by an adult. No registration required, food provided first-come, first-serve until supplies last.
