📢 Standing United for Our Service Members 🇺🇸

Six of the nation’s leading military and veteran service organizations — including the Air & Space Forces Association, Association of the United States Army, Marine Corps Association, National Guard Association of the United States, Reserve Organization of America, and EANGUS (Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States) — have signed a joint letter to Congress urging lawmakers to restore government funding and protect the pay and readiness of our Armed Forces.

Military families, federal employees, and defense civilians are already feeling the impact of the shutdown — but our collective voice can make a difference. 💪

🇺🇸 EANGUS is standing up for our National Guard members during the shutdown.

We’ve urged Congress to amend the Shutdown Fairness Act (S.3012) to include Title 32 Active Guard and Reserve (AGR) and Dual-Status Technicians (DSTs) — many of whom are serving without pay or have been furloughed.

These Guardsmen are essential to our nation’s readiness — maintaining aircraft, managing logistics, and ensuring our forces are trained and mission-ready. No one serving their country should have to take out loans or skip bills just to get by.

EANGUS continues to advocate for fairness, stability, and the dignity of national service. Those who defend our Nation should never be asked to serve without pay.

CALL TO ACTION! Take a moment to send a note to your elected officials that our military members should keep getting paid despite a government shutdown! A government shutdown should never force our service members or their families to go without pay. Support the passage of H.R.5401 - Pay Our Troops Act of 2026 and advocate for introduction and passage of a Senate companion bill.
The Pay Our Troops Act provides the necessary funds to support our nation’s Armed Forces and Department of Defense civilian employees until regular appropriations are passed into law, or through January 1, 2027.

The message is simple but powerful: Pay Our Troops.
