Thank you to the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown for this weekend. Despite rain and wind over 800 people came through the camp. Thank you to the staff for being gracious hosts and teaching me how to make mortar rounds.
Special thanks to Don Good, Don, TJ, and Homer Lanier. If I missed someone or spell someone's name wrong, blame the pain meds I am on for my fractured rib.
Also thank you to the men and women of the regiments that attended: The Fixed Regiment of the Spanish Louisiana, commanded by Jim Garner, Melanie Oringer; The Delaware Blue Hens, the 7th Va Regiment infantry, commanded by Capt Mike Cecere, Lt Francis Deane, Sgt Robert Boettger; The 7th Va Regiment Artillery, commanded by Mary Mansouri, Sgt Buzz Deamer, Sgt Karl Elsea; and the 1st Va Regiment Artillery, commanded by Ensign Gray Collins, IV. Also thanks to Jim Gallagher for being my adjutant, Norm Fuss and his wife for the fortifications display and David Pondolfino for his Col Carrington persona.
For those who missed this special weekend, it will happen next year, so if your unit or you wishes to attend please contact me.
My usual, and funny, After Action Report will be posted later with a picture or two.
Again a big thank you to ARM@Y Yorktown Victory Celebration, and everyone who attended.
