🚶🏾♀️💙 Last Thursday Communitymembers had the opportunity to join the Washington Hill Community Walk, and it was a wonderful example of what can happen when neighbors, public safety, and city leaders come together with a shared purpose.
Representatives from the Baltimore City Police Department, Johns Hopkins Police Department, Wrexham Park, DPW, the 12th and 13th Council Districts, and our State Senator’s office all joined residents as we walked through the neighborhood, listening and identifying areas of concern and opportunities for improvement.
A special highlight was having Senator Bill Ferguson join us along the route and take time to speak with community members. His presence reinforced the importance of working together to address neighborhood needs.
These walks are about more than just covering ground—they are about building relationships, strengthening communication, and ensuring that residents’ voices are heard. What a great way to bring the community together while highlighting areas that need attention and celebrating the strength of the Washington Hill neighborhood.
Thank you to the Washington Hill Community Association and everyone who came out to make a difference. Stronger neighborhoods are built when we walk, talk, and work together.
