What’s up, guys! 👋

Pastor Alec has a story to share that reminds us of the power of a simple act of kindness and why something that might seem small to us, like a pair of shoes, can make such a meaningful difference in our community. ❤️

Our Shoe Drive continues through the end of October, and we’d love for you to get involved if you haven’t already!

We’re collecting gently used, closed-toe shoes for men and women of all sizes. If you don’t have shoes to donate, we prayerfully ask you to consider giving financially to help us continue meeting this need and showing our community the love and compassion of Jesus. 👟

📍 Drop off donations at Eastern Assembly of God or CityBeat Church.

💚 Give online through our giving portal by selecting “Shoe Campaign” from the drop-down menu.

Together, we can help our neighbors take a step closer to Jesus, one pair of shoes at a time!

What a joy-filled Adopt-A-Block! ❤️💚

We’re so grateful for every volunteer who came out and brought the Holy Spirit and the joy of the Lord with them. We felt the love, and so did our community.

We heard some powerful testimonies and stories come out of this Saturday’s outreach. Sometimes, when we set out to minister to others, God ends up ministering to us just as much. We praise the Lord for that!

Let’s continue to be people who go to the places no one else will, who linger when God tells us to, who sit and eat with the people Jesus would, and who carry out the Great Commission—not only through our outreach, but in our everyday lives.

There is joy in loving people like Jesus. There is purpose in showing up. And there is no place too overlooked for the love of God to reach. ❤️
