Swipe for photos of the progress of the Wyman Park Dell Pollinator Garden! The Pollinator Garden transformed a disconnected and underutilized strip of conventional grass at the park into a beautiful and lush habitat for bees, butterflies, and birds. 🌿🦋🐝🕊️

The first section of the garden was installed in 2025 and the final section was completed earlier this year by the Friends of Wyman Park Dell in collaboration with:
Volunteering Untapped Baltimore
Baltimore City Master Gardeners
Baltimore City Rec & Parks
Chesapeake Bay Trust

Thank you so much to these organizations for their support and help with making the Pollinator Garden a success ❤️ We hope everyone enjoys this beautiful garden as much as we do! 🌼

The FWPD maintains the garden, and welcomes volunteers and donations to help with this effort. Please contact us to get involved, or donate to support our maintenance fund, link in bio! 🌳🌿

Another successful monthly clean-up! Thank you to the community members, JHU students, and FWPD Board Members for your time this morning. We appreciate you and your help keeping the Dell clean and beautiful! Today we watered baby trees, picked up trash, pruned trees, trimmed overgrowth at the park entrances, maintained the Pollinator Garden, and cleared ivy on the stone wall in preparation for Goats on the Slope later this week! See you next month 🌱🌳
