Friends of the Govans Library

Friends of the Govans Library Friends of the Govans Library (FOGL) is dedicated to the support and promotion of the Govans Branch of the Enoch Pratt Free Library.

FOGL hosts a fall family celebration and a spring lecture series. The Friends of the Govans Library (a branch of the Baltimore city Enoch Pratt Free Library) is comprised of volunteers from the neighborhoods which the library serves, such as Homeland, Govans, Radnor-Winston and Belvedere. The Friends group financially supports and participates in events hosted by the library, such as its Summer Re

ading party and Cinderella Ball, as well as hosts its own Fall Family Celebration and Spring lectures. The Board of the Friends of the Govans Library meets on the third Tuesday evening of every month at the library at 6:30 pm.

We’re excited to have several York Road Partnership Youth Development Committee partners joining us, including I Am Me Project, The Real Wings Inc., Youth Connect Global, and Nexus-Woodbourne Family Healing.

Come out, meet organizations supporting young people along the York Road corridor, enjoy the activities, and get ready for a great school year! 🎨✏️📓
