SMPS Maryland’s Summer Celebration was a wonderful success! While the evening began with thunderstorms, it ended in rainbows, sunshine, and a room full of energy as more than 60 attendees gathered at Gertrude’s Chesapeake Kitchen at the Baltimore Museum of Art to celebrate The Art of Connection.

We were thrilled to welcome members of the Maryland Chapter, along with friends and colleagues from the SMPS DC Chapter and across the A/E/C community, for an evening of networking, celebration, and connection.

More than 20 SMPS Maryland members and guests gathered last week for an exclusive hard hat tour of the Rash Field redevelopment project, one of the most transformative public space initiatives currently underway along Baltimore's waterfront.

Attendees had the opportunity to hear directly from representatives of the project team about the vision, design, and construction of this landmark project. The tour offered a behind-the-scenes look at the collaboration required to transform a key section of the Inner Harbor into a vibrant destination for recreation, community gathering, and waterfront access.

Following the tour, participants continued the conversation during a networking happy hour overlooking the harbor.
