Thank you to the parents, supporters, and community who came out to hear our writers share their work and talk about what they learned over the last six weeks. We are so proud of every one of them!

This morning, members of the team attended the Power of Place-Based Investment symposium hosted by Baltimore Unity Hall. We’re so grateful for the conversation on why place matters, how community engagement should actually work, and what it takes to build something that lasts. Thank you for the space to learn and connect!

Week one of our fall writing class is in the books, and we held our first Student Editorial Board meeting! 🙌

We’re so proud of our young people and can’t wait to see all that they create this year.

We have three scholarships available for our upcoming 6-session poetry class!

If you know a young writer who would benefit from this opportunity and can commit to attending all six sessions, nominate them by emailing [email protected].

The first three nominees will receive a scholarship!

Class starts soon, so send your nomination our way!

We can’t wait!

We’re so excited to welcome our young people back into the CHARM office for another year of writing, creating, connecting, and eating every snack in sight 😆
