Lots of fun with moms and sons! This past weekend, our mentees had the opportunity to cook for their moms for Mother’s Day. The boys whipped up a delicious meal with their mothers close by to support. After the meal was prepped, our mentees and moms enjoyed some French toast, Hash Brown Frittatas, and smoothies!

We’d like to thank Chef Becky with for hosting and teaching our young men how to cook a great meal for their moms!

This weekend we had our second annual public speaking event with our mentees. We had our students debate on if we schools should or should not have uniforms. We also had some of our students share a poem they liked or wrote themselves.

Mentoring over a lifetime

100 Black Men of Maryland, Inc., improves the quality of life for the communities that we serve. Mentoring is the core service delivered and we’re a part of the largest network of African American male mentors in the nation. We influence and transform the lives of underrepresented and disenfranchised youth, with a focus on African American youth.

Through our platform of Mentoring The 100 Way ®Across A Lifetime, we provide programmatic services in education, health and wellness, economic empowerment and leadership development, which makes a fundamental difference in the lives of the youth we touch and the communities that we serve.
