What an amazing first week of our Summer of Purpose!

Our TEAMsters explored the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C., enjoyed an exciting day at SplashDown Waterpark in Manassas, Virginia, and wrapped up the week with fun and friendly competition at Greenway Bowling Alley in Odenton.

We also celebrated our amazing TEAMsters during the Delaware Prevention and Abuse Program BBQ Appreciation Event, bringing everyone together for food, fellowship, and appreciation.

Week 1 was filled with learning, laughter, and unforgettable memories—and we're just getting started. We can't wait to see what Week 2 has in store!

On July 2nd, TEAM Delaware held a 4th of July Appreciation Gathering to celebrate our amazing TEAMsters with food, fun, and fellowship. It was a great chance to strengthen our community and show appreciation for everyone’s contributions. Thank you to all who joined us and made the day a success. Cake, Conversation & Community at TEAM Freetown

This week, our adults at the TEAM Freetown office came together for a fun-filled Cake & Sip event. As everyone decorated their cupcakes, the room was filled with laughter, creativity, meaningful conversations, and genuine connection.

Activities like these are about more than decorating treats—they provide an opportunity to express ourselves, strengthen relationships, and build a supportive community where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.

At TEAM, we believe that healing, growth, and togetherness often happen in the simple moments we share with one another.

Today, one of our TEAMsters from Hagerstown, Ms. Erica, will share her powerful testimony about overcoming substance abuse and the journey that led her toward recovery, healing, and hope.

Her story is a reminder that recovery is possible, growth is achievable, and no matter where you start, your past does not define your future.

Through determination, support, and faith in herself, Ms. Erica has transformed challenges into strength and is now using her experience to inspire others who may be facing similar struggles.
