Life has a way of reminding us what matters most.

Over the past week, both my father...my wife's father and our beloved fur baby passed away.

As our family takes time to grieve, support one another, and honor their memories, we have made the difficult decision to postpone The Velvet Honors.

The event will now be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026.

We know many of you were looking forward to this celebration, and so were we. The Velvet Honors was created to recognize the people who strengthen our community through their leadership, advocacy, creativity, and service. We want to give this event the focus, energy, and care it deserves.

All tickets already purchased will be honored for the new date. Ticket holders will receive additional information via Eventbrite.

Thank you for your understanding, your grace, and your support during this difficult time. We look forward to gathering with you in August to celebrate the incredible people who make our community stronger.
