Since 2018, HEC has given out scholarships to students with disabilities who are pursuing college or vocational training. This year we have received our highest amount of applicants and we are excited. 🙌🏼

We are asking our friends and family to consider donating to the HEC scholarship fund to help us fulfill the dreams of our scholars. 🎓

Imagine if you were in school and it was difficult and you had no support. You may have felt that no one believed in you. You felt defeated and left out. Well often that’s how some of our scholars with disabilities feel, like no one cares.

That’s where the HEC foundation comes in. We let our scholars know it’s not just about a disability it’s more about their ability. We look at what they can do and then we offer support to see them to the finish line with our RISE mentoring program. 👨‍🏫👩‍🏫

Our goal is to raise 3000.00 dollars. Any amount you can spare will put us one step closer to our goal. Thank you for your consideration and feel free to share this with someone. Make an impact today the future will thank you.

Every child deserves the opportunity to succeed — regardless of their disability. 🎓

Since 2018, the HEC Foundation has proudly supported students with disabilities by providing scholarships, mentorship, encouragement, and resources that help them pursue college and vocational dreams with confidence.

Many of our scholars face challenges that people never see:
📚 Learning differences

Lack of support

đź’° Financial barriers

Self-doubt caused by years of being underestimated

But at the Howard and Elizabeth Caldwell Foundation, we believe this wholeheartedly:

✨ A disability does NOT dismiss a person’s ability to succeed. ✨

Your donation helps us:
âś” Provide scholarships to students with active IEPs and 504 Plans
âś” Support first-generation college students
âś” Offer mentoring through our HEC R.I.S.E Program
âś” Provide workshops, guidance, and encouragement
âś” Create opportunities for youth and families in our community

When you donate, you are not simply giving money.

You are telling a student:
👉 “I believe in you.”
👉 “Your future matters.”
👉 “Your dreams are possible.”

Every dollar helps us continue changing lives throughout Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

If you would like to support our mission, please donate today

Family and friends please support if you are able. Invest in the future change a life. We are excited about the scholarship applications that we have received and would like to be in position to fund as many as we can. So we really need your help in doing so. Also, please feel free to share this information with anyone that may be interested in supporting scholarships for youth with disabilities.
