This year has been exceptionally difficult for our rescue as donations have dwindled away to
almost nothing in comparison to years prior.😞😢😓. We realize that many us have become more frugal with our spending this year due to the uncertainty of these times. 2025 has been difficult for so many folks… Unfortunately, it’s gotten to the point where we won’t be able to keep afloat or continue caring for the large number of homeless cats that we currently care for if we don’t get some relief very soon. The burden has unfairly fallen on our volunteers, President and a select few individuals whom, God bless them,consistently and regularly have sent donations for the cats. Please spread the word - The cats need you!

🪽👼🙏💔✝️😔In Loving Memory of Ryker, a former colony kitty at the colony I refer to as the “Pit Bull Bait Colony,” where an evil man brings his pack of pit bulls to hunt live prey, better known as the homeless cats. I feel confident that Ryker got to live out all 9 of his lives. Ryker had an undeniably hard life, we only wish we had found him sooner. Our hearts are full of gratitude that he was able to live out the final year-and-a-half in happiness and utter bliss amongst his best feline friends at the Best Little Cat House, a sanctuary for FeLV+ kitties equipped with outdoor play yards and rooms to accompany any and every kitty cat mood. Fly high, sweet, special boy. YOU MATTERED. YOU WERE LOVED. ❤️

🥶Bbbrrrr! It’s that time of year again! ❄️☃️🧤🧣. The homeless kitties get cold too and need to have adequate shelters provided to keep them warm, dry and to give them an escape from the elements. 🎗️JUST A REMINDER: OUTDOOR CAT SHELTERS SHOULD BE FILLED GENEROUSLY WITH FRESH STRAW, NOT BLANKETS OR HAY! Blankets can get wet and could freeze a cat that’s fallen asleep on them to death! Hay does not repel moisture and can become wet, cold and moldy. STRAW IS 100% THE SAFEST AND BEST WAY TO GO! Straw repels moisture and retains warmth. Old straw needs to be changed out and replaced with fresh/new straw every winter minimally or better yet- twice per year. The kitties will thank you!
