Today is the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi.
This man of flesh and blood lived a radical life loving Jesus and all of creation created by the lord.

St Francis lived to be 44 years old but what a life he lived.

Yesterday, our culinary students took part in their 1st cooking exam and first community buffet.
The students did a fantastic job. These students will have another test next Friday and one more next month before their graduation on December 15th.

This daytime class is our 17th class.

By 10 a.m., the Franciscan Center is in motion.

A warm, nutritious meal may be what first brings a neighbor through our doors. But it may not be the only thing they need.

Through Responsive Services, we help with clothing and toiletries, baby items, vision referrals, eviction prevention, and connections to other resources. We listen to the person in front of us, respond where we can, and connect them with community partners when additional help is needed.
