Revised: Weekend Road Closures for Friday, July 21st through Sunday, July 23rd, 2023
The Baltimore City Department of Transportation (BCDOT) would like to advise motorists of the temporary traffic modifications and road closures for the following activities this weekend. Lane Closures for CFG Bank Arena Event
This Friday, temporary lane closures will be implemented in the vicinity of the CFG Bank Arena.
The following lane closures will be implemented on Friday, July 21, 2023 starting at approximately 9:00 p.m. and lasting until 2:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2023:
Right lane closure on W. Lombard Street from Hopkins Place to Howard Street
Left lane closure on W. Pratt Street from Eutaw to Howard Streets
Left lane closure on Howard Street from Camden to W. Pratt Streets
Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for pedestrians, especially when approaching designated crosswalks.
Traffic Modifications for Crane Operations and Landscaping Activities
The following lane and road closures will be implemented on Saturday, July 22, 2023 (times are approximate):
Westbound Franklin/Mulberry/Route 40 Expressway right lane closure between Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and Payson Street 5:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (landscaping work)
South Frederick Street will be closed between Baltimore Street and Water Street for a crane operation 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (crane operation)
The following lane closure will be implemented on Sunday, July 23, 2023 (times are approximate):
Shell Road right lane closure between Frankfurst and Patapsco Avenues 5:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (landscaping work)
Motorists traveling in these vicinities should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Road Closures for the Bazemore Banditz Reunion Parade
This Saturday, temporary road closures will be implemented for the Bazemore Banditz Reunion Parade.
In preparation for the event, the following road closures will be implemented on Saturday, July 22, 2023 from approximately 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with detours and parking restrictions in effect:
Carswell Street from Harford Road to Polk Street
Polk Street from Carswell Street to Abbotson Street
Abbotson Street from Polk Street to Kirk Avenue
Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for pedestrians, especially when approaching designated crosswalks and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Road Closure for the David Couser Baltimore Love Festival
This Saturday, a temporary road closure will be implemented in the vicinity of Middle Branch Park for the Baltimore Love Festival.
In preparation for the event, the following road closure will be implemented on Saturday, July 22, 2023 from approximately 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.:
Waterview Avenue closed at Hanover Street
Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for pedestrians, especially when approaching designated crosswalks and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Traffic Modifications for the Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar
This Sunday, traffic modifications will be in effect for the Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar, which is held under the Jones Falls Expressway along Saratoga Street between Holliday and Gay Streets.
On Sunday, July 23, 2023 the following street and lane closures will be implemented from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with detours in effect:
Holliday Street closed from Pleasant Street to Saratoga Street
Pleasant Street closed at Holliday Street
Hillen Street center lane closure at Fallsway
Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
