Are you a Black nonprofit Executive Director?

Then consider joining us next week for a joint program with The BLK ED Network!

This event will provide an opportunity for Black-led nonprofit leaders to enrich their understanding of funding opportunities and discuss the barriers they face in securing philanthropic funding with representatives from several grantmaking organizations. Space is limited to preserve room for good discussion, so register today!

Thank you to all who attended our 12th Giving Circle Gathering this morning from Anne Arundel Women Giving Together, a women's giving circle, Baltimore Women's Giving Circle, Catonsville Women's Giving Circle, Jewish Women's Giving Foundation Baltimore, Many Hands, Women's Giving Circle of Howard County, and The Women's Giving Circle of Washington County!

We enjoyed connecting with you and hearing from our speaker Sara Lomelin, CEO of Philanthropy Together, who shared about diversifying and democratizing philanthropy and supporting Race Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion work within giving circles.

Baltimore's Promise, Building Movement Project and the T. Rowe Price Foundation are partnering to release a survey geared specifically towards nonprofit professionals working and based in the Baltimore area.

This survey is intended to shine a spotlight on the experiences of staff in the local sector; examine trends around race, leadership, and equity; and offer recommendations and opportunities to confront the nonprofit racial leadership gap. Share your thoughts and experiences on race and leadership in the nonprofit sector, and help us inform strategies to create change and advance equity in Baltimore and at large. Complete this survey and spread the word: bit.ly/BaltimoreR2L.
