WELCOME to our new Board members! We are so excited to have these talented individuals share their expertise with our team as we work to support families living in Baltimore City by connecting communities, empowering families to advocate for great schools, and compiling free resources to make parenting in the city easier.

Our 8th Annual Stoop Soirée in exactly one month away! Be sure to gets your tickets now before November 1 when the price jumps to $100.

Dance, laugh, and have a whole lot of fun. You support helps BFA build FREE and fun opportunities for families and taking playtime to a whole new level!

Join us for a family-friendly afternoon at the farm! On Saturday, November 7 from 2-4pm, head to The Plantation - Park Heights Urban Garden (3811 Park Heights Ave, 21215) for Baltimore Family Alliance’s Family Farm Tour and Picnic.

Families will enjoy a guided farm tour from 2-3pm and learn more about the crops, livestock, and operations of a farm. After the tour, families are invited to bring a picnic and stay to enjoy the farm together. We’ll also have an opportunity for families to take home herbs from the farm and/or purchase some farm products.

Children of all ages and their caregivers are welcome, but this is a perfect event for kids in first through fifth grade.

Join Baltimore Family Alliance and Park Heights Plantation Urban Farm and Agrihood Baltimore for an evening of family fun for all ages! On Wednesday 10/28, for the whole time the Fall Market is open (3:30-7:30pm), enjoy kids’ activities, food trucks, and a DJ. Baltimore Hoop Love and The Science Guys of Baltimore join from 5:30-6:30pm!

Come connect with community organizations, support local vendors, enjoy some family fun, and celebrate the end of the Farmers Market season.

So many families have enjoyed their free kids running program now head out for an afternoon for sports and fun!

Come out and watch the JHU Field Hockey Team take on Williams College from 12-2PM. And then stay for the Fall Bash from 3-5PM and enjoy sports stations with JHU scholar-athletes, games, face painting, crafts, and an afternoon of fun!

Our Adopt A Family program is such an impactful way to give back to other families this holiday season. We are so thrilled from the support you provide each year with so many gifts for children that fill up and overflow a school's cafeteria! The smile on a mom or dad's face is always a joy to see

You can still be part of making a family’s holiday a little brighter! Sign-up to adopt a family before November 1.

Don't have the time to shop? You can still help and chip in $5 or $10 now. No donation is ever too small. Your support helps us navigate the administrative expenses of this program. Or can provide the funds for gift purchases for any unmatched children.

Announcing our incredible Stoop Soiree honorees! Selected from a strong pool of nominations, these individuals and groups are making Baltimore City a better place for families, and we're proud and excited to honor them.

Be sure to join us on Friday, November 13, when these honorees will receive their awards. Tickets available at the link in the first comment!

This year's Baltimore Family Alliance honorees include:
-- Dana Hill and Lucia Islas, Advocates of the Year
-- Debbie Trusty and Dr. Genevieve Stein-O'Brien, Parents of the Year
-- Francis Scott Key Elementary/Middle School PTO, Parent Group of the Year
Awards will be presented by William C. Ferguson, President of the Maryland Senate.
