We are reaching out to share an opportunity to participate in a research study about postpartum dyadic care led by midwives and researchers, Noelene K. Jeffers and Ashley Gresh, at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. The research team would like to better understand how dyadic postpartum care is developed and implemented in healthcare settings, and to learn about the challenges and opportunities that shape this model of care. Dyadic postpartum care is a model in which the birthing parent and their infant receive care together in the same visit, allowing providers to address the health needs of both. This study will collect information from healthcare providers and staff, patients, and their partners regarding their experiences with dyadic postpartum care. Through this research, the study team hopes to improve postpartum care in the United States.
If you are a healthcare provider or healthcare staff who has experience in the implementation of a postpartum dyadic care model in the last three years, we want to hear from you! To participate, you must be at least 18 years of age; read, speak, or write in English; work in the United States; and have access to a working email or phone.
We are asking you to complete a 20-minute survey. We are offering a $15 gift card to anyone who completes the survey.
To access the survey, simply click [https://jh.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_8eS]. You may also use the attached flyer, which includes a QR code.
Please feel free to share this email and the attached flyer with other healthcare providers or staff who might be interested. The only thing we ask is that you not share it on social media so that we can prevent the bots/scammers from trying to take it!
Please feel free to reach out to the Principal Investigator, Noelene Jeffers ([email protected]), with any questions.
