The value of having mentors speak to our Kings in the program is that they are able to share a variety of different career paths. Some of our young men may want to become doctors or lawyers, while others may want to become entrepreneurs. Hear now from Eric Owens who owns The Owens Group as he explains the reason why he came to speak to our young men this past Saturday.

Happy Labor Day to all of the workers who give so much of themselves to provide for their families. We salute all who contribute to the American workforce in building the nation’s prosperity, including those who share their work experience with our kings. We also appreciate all who helped to build this country and never received credit.

Our second guest at Mentoring Male Teens in the Hood was Ms. Angela Castillo and on September 6th she talked about DEI.
