To communicate with our members, the Auxiliary uses Constant Contact, a bulk email platform. We use Constant Contact for everything from E-Newsletters and event agendas to VFW Store and member benefits emails. To make sure we’re reaching as many members as we can, we regularly copy member email addresses from MALTA, therefore, it’s crucial that we have your current email in MALTA.
If a member unsubscribes from receiving even ONE email via Constant Contact, they will be unsubscribed from ALL Constant Contact communication. If you forward a Constant Contact email to another member and that member unsubscribes, you, too, will be unsubscribed. The best method of sharing information from a Constant Contact email is to copy the content and paste it into a new email.
If you or someone you know is not receiving the E-Newsletter or E-Magazine after subscribing to receive these, or if you are an Officer who isn’t receiving Ambassador Promotions or other email, we suggest the following:
Log in to your MALTA profile and ensure that the email listed is correct. While you’re there, browse the mailing address and phone number, too.
If you suspect that you’re no longer subscribed and would like to resubscribe, send us an email. Once we’ve received your request, we’ll send an email with a link. Please follow this link and confirm that you’d like to resubscribe to Constant Contact.
Mention this communication at your Auxiliary meeting and encourage members to double-check their email addresses or, if they haven’t done so, establish their MALTA profile. Just click the MALTA Member Login from the National website home page and follow the instructions: https://vfwauxiliary.org/.
