The Public Health & Environment Committee will hold a continuation of LO25-0024 - Oversight of Recovery Homes and Substance Abuse Clinics in Baltimore City.
This legislative oversight hearing will examine how recovery homes and substance abuse clinics are serving individuals on their path to healing. The discussion will focus on strengthening the quality, safety, and regulation of these facilities—ensuring they meet the highest standards of care. It will also explore current policies, provider accountability, and how resources are distributed across neighborhoods. Community voices and lived experiences will help shape efforts to build more high quality, effective, and compassionate recovery support systems.
