The Greater Baltimore Urban League Guild participated in the Free Clothes Giveaway yesterday at The Living Word Church of Deliverance. Some of the clothing was donated by our Guild a few months ago and is now being placed directly into the hands of those who need it most. Community members—adults, teens, children, and our unhoused neighbors—were already arriving before 10 AM, eager and grateful for the opportunity to select clothing that meets their needs. Witnessing the joy and appreciation on their faces was truly a blessing. Thank you to every Guilder who donated. Your generosity continues to make a tangible difference in Baltimore. Special thanks to the Living Word Church of Deliverance for their outreach and impact in the community.

Last week, the Greater Baltimore Urban League Guild gathered for our End‑of‑Year Celebration and the closing tenure of Guild President Carliss Maddox. It was a beautiful evening filled with gratitude, reflection, and joy. We came together to honor those who have labored among us, co‑labored beside us, and helped strengthen our mission through their time, talent, and heart.

Our honorees represent what it truly means to serve with purpose and integrity. Their dedication has touched lives, advanced our community, and inspired others to lead with compassion. Seeing their faces light up as they were recognized reminded us that honor is powerful. It uplifts, it unites, and it affirms the value of every contribution.
