We are starting a winter clothing drive! ❄️ Our most-needed items are coats, new underwear and socks. Donations can be dropped off anytime during our open hours: Monday–Thursday, 9 AM–4 PM (our address: 1214 N Wolfe St.).

We are also seeking community partners 🤝to host donation sites. If your office, workplace, or organization would be interested in hosting a collection bin, feel free to DM us with any questions or to get involved!!

Her words capture so much of what this program is about: community, compassion, and connection. We are so proud of what the CAC program has grown into, and deeply grateful for every member has shared their voice and help shape this work.

At Wednesday’s graduation, we were honored to give some of that love back and celebrate this incredible cohort and their contributions.

On August 31, our team presented at the 5th Annual DC Engage Drug User Health Conference on our low-barrier employment model. We were proud to have many of our staff attend and support our presenters.

Our whole team had a wonderful time and it was a great opportunity to connect with experts, advocates, and community members committed to advancing drug user health strategies in the DMV.

Last Friday, our team joined forces with SPARC Center to clean up our community—and together, we made a big impact. In just one cleanup, we were able to collect OVER 750 syringes‼️

We had an incredible time working alongside the SPARC team, and it was a great reminder that when we work together, we can make an even greater impact.

Today is International Overdose Awareness Day, a day to remember those we have lost and recommit to evidence-based overdose prevention.

In 2024, The Baltimore Banner and The New York Times named Baltimore the “Overdose Capital of America.” However, Baltimore communities have lived this crisis long before it became a headline. We have lost cherished friends, family, and neighbors.

Today, we are seeing progress, with overdose deaths declining. Nevertheless, the crisis is far from over, and Black Marylanders continue to be disproportionately impacted. We must build on the progress we’ve made and keep working toward a future without overdose deaths.

We honor everyone impacted by this crisis and send love to those who are grieving, healing, and supporting loved ones. Thank you for carrying this work forward with us.

We’ve signed on to Housing Our Neighbors’s petition calling on Baltimore City to reject a proposed 90-day limit on shelter stays.

People experiencing homelessness deserve stability, dignity, and the time they need to find safe, appropriate housing. We’re proud to support Housing Our Neighbors and their work to ensure shelter remains a place of safety, not a countdown.

That’s a wrap on the 2026 Health and Resource Fair! 🎪

Thank you to everyone who came out, supported, and helped make the day so special, especially our incredible vendors and community partners.

We had a little bit of everything: homemade lemonade, great food, an Italian ice truck, bouncy house fun, book bags for kids and families, and lots of great resources!
