Leadership is a journey, not a destination.

NYLT and Wood Badge provide opportunities to learn and grow yourself, while inspiring others and strengthening the Scouting movement.

Your unit. Your Scouts. Your future leaders. It's your move.

Exceptional Scouting happens when youth and adult leaders share a common Vision.

Youth gain confidence, adults become better mentors, and your Units become stronger. And who knows, you may even have time for the Care Bears to visit your campfire!

NYLT and Wood Badge both teach servant leadership. Guiding others towards success, and showing that you can have fun at the same time.

The lessons learned at NYLT and Wood Badge don't end when the course is over.

Both teach how to recognize and lead your team through the stages of team development to achieve your goals. When your team leverages everyone's talents, your team succeeds.

The impact reaches every meeting, every campout, and every Scout they lead.

Leadership looks different at every age, but the goal is the same - developing confident, capable leaders.

NYLT teaches youth how to lead from the front. Wood Badge teaches adults how to coach in the background.

One mission, two courses. Stronger patrols, stronger units, and stronger communities.
